After much thinking, I have now opened ShoutingWords for guest posts. The aim of this decision is to offer readers with more variety of useful content along with providing a platform for budding bloggers.
Why Guest Posting?
I started ShoutingWords in December 2009 with an objective to offer quality content on web technologies, blogging and SEO but due to my extremely busy schedule, I was not able to publish content on a regular basis. Hence I decided to invite guest bloggers to write for ShoutingWords. So if you are a blogger with passion to write and spread knowledge then ShoutingWords is the place to be.
What will be the change in ShoutingWords?
In our quest to offer quality content and a place to be for web technologies and blogging, ShoutingWords will now focus on providing content from three major areas, each of which will be taken care by three editors.
1) Blogging & SEO
2) Web Technologies
3) Internet, Tech News and Tips & Tricks
As a part of our endeavor to increase user satisfaction and quality of the content, we are also working on the redesign of ShoutingWords to make it more user friendly and usable.
What you as an Author will get?
Guest Blogging is a great way of driving traffic. You get so many new readers of your articles and your existing blog gets more exposure. My friend Harsh from ShoutMeLoud has written a lot about guest posting on his blog and he is my inspiration behind this decision. In order to make this move mutually beneficial, we have taken few more steps. Along with guest blogging, we have also enabled revenue sharing on ShoutingWords. This means you can publish your Adsense Ads in your posts and earn money. Additionally you also get a link back to your blog or site. This will help you to get more traffic.
How to get started?
In order to register yourself as a guest author on ShoutingWords, please click HERE. After registering yourself with ShoutingWords, please update your profile so that the same can be shown at the end of your posts for the information of readers. If you have a valid and approved Adsense account, you can update your Adsense publisher ID in the author advertising option available in your dashboard after you login. After you update your Adsense publisher ID in the author advertising page, we will show Ads from your account on the posts created by you.
