Today apple opened its stores for customers to buy its latest product, the iPad. Those who had already booked the product and those entering the stores first will get their hands on iPad. In my last two posts, the launch of iPad and its features, I had covered a lot about the iPad. It is a great news for US customers as they could now try this product but Indian customers may have to wait until it is available in India as well.
The iPad has been priced at $499.00 in US and the iPad users in US will get unlimited data plan at just 30USD per month.
It is being expected that the iPad will be launched in India and other Asian countries by April or June 2010. If we expect that Apple will be releasing the iPad in India for the same price then converting its price in USD to INR would come close to just around 22500 INR. This is very small amount considering the features iPad is offering and I think it will create sales history in India.
